Australian funk titans The Bamboos team up with American rapper Ozay Moore on their new single, “Midlife Glow”. A slice of street knowledge hi-hop/neo-soul that hits home. It’s taken from the band’s upcoming mixtape album, "Reel To Reel".

A very cool and suspenseful glissando intro and a glacial chord sequence sets this deep and sophisticated rap groove into free and unbridled territory. Dope beats with darting jazz flute and hanging string lines give it a really glossy and classy feel adorned with a Q-Tip type flow delivery.

You have to hand it to Bandleader Lance Ferguson, he doesn’t for one-second rest easy on his laurels, whether he is rustling up The Melbourne Symphony or Cookin' On Three Burners or the tons of others Ferguson has worked with. This man doesn’t stop still! Indeed, this Is promising stuff and I for one, am looking forward to the album.
