PRhyme Announce Debut UK Show

Two of hip hop's most respected artists, rapper Royce Da 5â9â and producer DJ Premier are leading the way with their latest project, PRhyme. Individually they both have long been established in hip-hop culture and are now fulfilling their artistic destiny.

Their first full-length collaboration is celebrated for its true hip-hop makeup and its overall purpose. This is one of the reasons they started making music in the first place. And this is why they formed the group PRhyme.

Releasing their critically acclaimed album last December, the record is nine blistering tracks featuring some of today's most prolific artists in the industry; including Common, Jay Electronica, Killer Mike, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, Mac Miller and Dwele. In addition composer extraordinaire Adrian Younge was enlisted for help, making the album a standout project.

Following a huge North American tour, the duo will make their highly anticipated debut UK performance at Londonâs Islington Assembly Hall on 20th April. Previewing new material from their recently released album, this is set to be a very special intimate show.

âOur thing is to teach people how to not skim through the albums because their attention span is short. I want people to appreciate the fact that we didnât compromise in lieu of the environment. In order to try to change the way that people digest music, we had to take a leap of faith.â Royce Da 5â9â
