What is happening to the world when a greatest hits compilation is released by an artist who rose to fame on a reality TV show and who has only four albums under his belt?

More importantly, why, when the artist has such a strong voice is ‘The way love goes’ bubbling over in autotune? Any why does an ‘all hits’ album even require a single? So many questions are forced upon us.

Lemar’s normally hearty vocals, harmonies and backing ‘ooh’s’ are all reduced to thin, processed stringy 1990’s Cher-like whimpers on this song, which is a shame. You might get the feeling that this single has been recorded just to dupe loyal fans into buying the Hits album, you might just be right.
