If you aren’t familiar with Freestyle Man you’ll discover he has the most misleading name in music, if he were a gardener his name would no doubt be The Baker.

Sadly there are no freestyles to be found on 'The Bottom Line', instead you are presented with laid back but funky beats, retro synths and a smattering of carefully chosen samples. There’s no new ground broken on any of the tracks, the music is firmly rooted in the past, but you can file the CD safely with the pile you listen to when chilling out after a heavy night of clubbing.
