Soul Unsigned Volume 3: Various
5.7
Soul Unsigned return with Volume 3 in their series. 14 solid tracks are included on this album & it all kicks off with Tyrone 'Time Of Your Life' which is an excellent soul dancer that sets the scene nicely!
In fact the first 3 tracks are all very good uptempo tunes Richard Alexander Davis has a quality track 'You’ve Changed' that features great keyboard stabs & changes & then the CD leads us into J Stever’s 'Music' which again is an uptempo dancer of very high standard.
The Excellent Gentlemen sound very Cameo ish with the track 'Freaks' & Cool Million feature with 'Next To Me' a kind of 80’s influenced tune which sounds great & will definitely work the danefloors very well indeed!! Alessia Piermarine comes in with a jazzy steppy sort of track called 'Step On My Flower' but then we have 2 throwback sounds in Candy Cream 'Give Love A Chance' and Constituents 'Love'.The CD finishes of with Unified Tribe 'Get up' giving the album a funky ending!!
All together this is a very strong album & I’m sure quite a few of the tracks will get major play over the next few weeks if they aren’t already!! Highly Recommended. Thanks to Phil Driver for sending me the CD & it’s great to see a label like this supporting unsigned & Independent artists.
