OK I’m not sure what’s going on here. This is actually the Japanese authentic Funk band ‘Osaka Monaurail’ under another name and they’re not even hiding the fact, and it’s on their Japanese label too.
It’s an album of cover versions that they wanted to do, and very good they are too. I don’t really know what else to say except that this is as good as any other album they’ve made (in other words: excellent). I’m still confused though!
