This was recorded in Brasil in 2002 by French producer Greg Villanova and it features nine local musicians from Salvador Da Bahia.

I’m not sure why it’s only surfaced now but – ouch – it’s too hot to hold! What we have here is some serious, tough and jazzy mid-70’s Funk.

What is odd, however, is that although it was recorded in Brasil with Brasillian musicians, there is nothing remotely Brasilian about either side! Either way, Both sides are killer and sure-fire dancefloor winners (particularly ‘Estrada’), so buy with confidence.
