Upon listening to Dan Bowskill's album 'More Than Music' you get the feeling that this album means 'More Than JUST Music' to the artist.
As a listener you are invited to witness Bowskill's ideology, his passion and his beliefs- all of which you have to respect as the album delivers with such conviction and above all quality.
Of course Bowskill treats you to high end reggae mixed with feint soul influences and together you have an excellent (and I mean this in the most respectful way) cross over album. I can see a real mix of listener for this album which in turn will give Bowskill more exposure musically, and of course spread the word.
Tracks that shone for me included the soulful 'Crying Out' and 'Forever'. The immaculate (and I hope he releases) 'Mr Tommy' and the emotionally charged 'I Adore You'. Personal favourite has to be 'Bamboozled' as I thought this track summed up the whole album. Quality with a capital Q.
