CASSIE: 'IS IT YOU'

After a promising start in the R&B genre, Cassie re-appears with the lightweight 'Is It You'. This doesn't challenge or indeed agree with me on any plain and drifts along wallowing in it's own production.

We know she has a great voice, and we know she is a looker and we know above all she is talented, but releasing this because it's been in a film that's done well is not a good enough reason. This track is not strong enough to swim in a sea of highly competitive R&B songs as I predict it will sink without a trace. "Sorry Cassie! It ISN'T you".
