The Greatest Soul/Funk & Disco 12” Inch Singles of The 70s & 80s’ is jam-packed, without doubt, with the greatest 12-inch versions ever made from that glorious bygone era. Robinsongs together with Cherry Red Records have exceeded themselves with this veritable tour de force.

The 12-inch extended mix when it first came out in 1970 didn’t take off til producer Tom Moulton took the mantle and re-introduced the concept in 1974 then, hey presto, and the rest is history, as they say. And from that moment, the 12” single became the format that defined Disco’s glory years all fully represented here over four discs worth.

Just marvel at some of these gloriously extended masterpieces, such as the whopping 11-minute-long "Now That We’ve Found Love" by Inner Circle - all killer no filler!

Atmosfear (who are still gigging now) put in a shift of 9 and a half minutes with their classic, “Dancing In Outer Space”. Also, there are other standout rarities, such as The Undisputed Truth's "You + Me = Love". Suffice to say, these were the halcyon days of dance and this is a rather unique collection and a must for avid disco fans. In short an essential buy.
