Abi Farrell: New Love (Independently Released)

Hot soul prospect Abi Farrell is well-known to Blues & Soul Magazine readers, and after checking out her latest track "New Love", she certainly deserves yet more praise as Farrell pops her head up over the parapet and delivers the sonic goods, yet again.

A strident track with a sophisticated/kick-ass piano-led arrangement that boasts a deliciously glossy production, replete with pounding drums and coruscating strings which accompany Farrell's now customary crystal clear vocals. You could go as far as to say that this track possesses all the attributes of a real northern soul-type banger!

Farrell possesses the sweetest of voices and, at times, emits Motown shades - think early Diana Ross tracks...she’s that good! This peach of a single shows this artist is in blistering form with this catchy hook-laden slice of surging soul. A veritable tour de force.
