The Descendants Ft. Mazen Bedwei: Telling Lies (F*CLR Records)

This is the first of a 2-part release for UK trio The Descendants (aka Matt Cooper (Incognito), Jeff Cooper (Matt’s dad) and Johnny Primed, who enlist the divine vocal talents of Mazen Bedwei (currently touring with Leroy Hudson) on their fantastic debut for F*CLR, "Telling Lies".

A song about deceit and heartbreak, Mazen delivers a meaningful vocal over a classy well-tailored backdrop of beautiful piano melodies, moving strings and danceable beats.

Part 2 of this release comes with a glorious set of remixes from North Street West, who bring a sun-drenched laid-back vibe, whilst giving a nod to Charles Stepney, and Laroye & Dan Tenor City go all-out New York style with a punchy housed-up dub to get the dance floor vibing.
