Jay B McCauley: I Am More Than Just Your Queen Ft. Leeny Pearls (Vagrant Soundz)

Australia’s up-and-coming producer Jay B McCauley has come up with quite an exquisite soulful outing, teaming up with singer/songwriter Leeny Pearls on their first collab, "I Am More Than Just Your Queen".

Pearls offers a striking vocal dipped in melancholy, not far away vocally from Tracy Thorn (EBTG), as Jay B weaves a deep and warm soundtrack that fits her vocal like a glove.

Baltimore’s MicFreak brings a bit of a 90’s house vibe to the song with a bouncy dub, and Newcastle’s Col Lawton strips things down, using a few select vocals, simultaneously injecting some jazzy meanderings, complete with a groovy flute solo.
