Maxine Scott x Alf.E: Ya Energy - inc. North Street West Remix (Ramrock Blue)

After making a big splash with her debut single "Erykah U Bad" earlier this year, NuJazz talent, Maxine Scott joins forces with young beat wizard, Alf.E on her follow-up release on Ramrock Blue titled, "Ya Energy".

A fantastic pairing, Maxine effortlessly delivers laid-back soul-soaked vocals over easy beats from Alf.E, creating a perfect late summer vibe. Adding a brilliant sultry R&B re-rub to the song, North Street West (Ashley Beedle, Darren Morris and Jo Wallace) inject some animated brass riffs, flutes and sublime keys that really compliment the vocals. Great to see some new raw talent shining through and I can’t wait to see what Ms Scott does next!
