Swedish based melodic funkateers BFE are back with a stonking cut of Afro Funk blessedness. Starting with a slowburning intro that introduces slinky guitar, a bone deep conga groove and some seriously smokey sax before the full Kuti-fied horn section kicks off imperiously with the onset of deep groove that drops magnificently .

It’s a sophisticated song too, with great chordal movement reminiscent of classic jazz funk. However, they also like to hang on the one chord where the fun really kicks in with jarring horns and cross rhythms and spry bass courtesy of Lati Kronlund too.

Experienced lead singer and co-writer Alison Limerick puts in a sassy performance and gets the frustration off her chest letting her unshakeable convictions unfold. A cut glass gem that needs no polishing. BFE ARE BACK ! This all bodes extremely well for their forthcoming album scheduled for November.Should be a winner too.
