Some red hot Congolese inspired dance sounds seem to be expounding forth from this most colourful and vibrant artist. It's
Infectious as it is joyous and fresh sounding too...

Ladies and Gentlemen meet Juanita Euka. An in-demand artist who is a familiar face to some, due to her explosive performances on London’s exciting live music scene. Euka has fronted London Afrobeat Collective’s shows for some time but now, with her last single "Alma Seca" breaking out with the help of a play on series 3 of blockbuster BBC TV show Killing Eve, Euka's fortunes have now taken off in an upward direction.

This strident offering really cuts the mustard with its lilting cross-rhythms, fluid African guitar and darting horns, laying out the song in a glorious manner. It's a gorgeous slice of stylish and organic African pop with a great live feel, bolstered by Euka's warm and syncopated style of singing.

This all bodes extremely well for her forthcoming album, due in March. It's good to see Strut Records investing in new and current music too - it's a win-win situation. Juanita Euka is definitely one to watch in 2022.
