Joe Ventura: Patrick Cowley Was Here (BIG Speaker Music)

The name Joe Ventura is quite new to us at camp B&S, having first discovered the US producer's talents on his recent groover, "Shame", with Sulene Fleming.

His latest offering, "Patrick Cowley Was Here", is a world away from the aforementioned single, but full of feel-good vibes and an obvious deep understanding of the magic of old school house music.

The single pays homage to Patrick Cowley, who created the epic remix of Donna Summer’s Disco smash, "I Feel Love" and comes served with a platter of lush melodies, a dreamy vocal hook and topped with an insane bongo backed key solo. There is also an ad-lib vocal mix version that puts a cheerful spin on things. Sounds just like way back when…
