It's good to see that modern soul music is thriving in these uncertain times and JB Rose certainly pays homage to the past with this humdinger of a tune that once heard, will no doubt lodge firmly in your brain. It has a sound of familiarity mixed with invention and it's a well executed slice of gorgeous R&B (with a slow disco type edge) and is a perfect example of an exemplary artist taking time in developing her sound to perfection.

This engaging lady exudes a certain 'joi de vivre' and her sultry vocals propel this little gem ever so sweetly. A tough beat with Chic like piano chords, incisive guitar plus strings and horns make this a skillful piece of syncopated songwriting and production a real touch of class. This deserves to be blasted out of the the airwaves like confetti.Summer vibes for the summer tribes, pure and simple!
