Those stalwarts of engaging and often forgotten sounds, BBE Records, have come up trumps yet again, as they continue their Tabansi Gold Series reissue project with this ultra-rare and highly collectable double-disc delight titled simply “Victor Chukwu” and contains “Akalaka” and “The Power” albums, boasting plenty of old-school Igbo highlife (combines Igbo and Highlife traditional genres) by genre royals, Victor Chukwu & The Black Irokos.

We have been lucky enough to have been given 5 CD’s containing the “Akalaka” and “The Power” albums form those very nice people at BBE and all you have to do to win a copy is to answer our artist related question and be one of our 5 winners, drawn at random, on Dec 1.

Q: Igbo highlife star Victor Chukwu was affectionately known by what family inspired nickname?
A) Uncle
B) Auntie
