The Organauts hit the ground running with this superb slice of heavy Hammond funk. It’s a maiden voyage too, for new record label boss and famed DJ, Pete Brady.

He must be tickled pink with this debut as It’s a glorious home grown affair too, all coming out of Northern Ireland, the home of Belfast funk & soul. It’s a mission statement, and that statement is ‘are you ready for some insane funk!

The swelling organ intro and militaristic drums gives way to a mighty groove, as the top line of the Donna Summer classic swings merrily over the ace rhythm section’s in the pocket ensemble playing and by the time the killa wah-guitar kicks in, you will have been hooked big time.

The flames of funk are being fanned once more and this little gem deserves to be in anybody’s trunk of funk. DJ’s in this genre are going to snap this up so get in quick and get your hands on this glorious 45.
