Crushed Velvet & The Velveteers: As Far As We Know (VLM)

An impassioned plea for love, unity and understanding - this has all the hallmarks of a lost soul classic.

This project is one of Evans' best guises too and the tip-top 60's retro production is a marvel, replete with strings and languid horns full of laid back swagger. The thuddy bass and crisp drums offer the perfect bedrock too.

Vocalist, Stephane Detchou, AKA Brother GoodLove, also stands tall delivering a first-class performance harking back to The Impressions - no mean feat! Perfect for these strange times offering us all hope, equality, tolerance and succour for a better future.
