The King Rooster consistently put out exciting and vital 45's and this I can safely say, is no exception. Yet again they have raised the bar and shown what a real touch of class they really are.

Here they have pushed the envelop further a field with their new expansions. They are a well honed lean, mean funking machine that take no prisoners and are world leaders in today's gritty deep funk scene. It's without doubt their particular speciality. The rhythm section, comprising of Mark Claydon, drums and Ian Stevens, bass are a sight to behold- grease is the word! 'Dirty States Of Mind' is a filthy wah wah infested slice of pure blessedness.....

Look out for the drumbreak with its cool band accents and the Maceo like synth (Across The Tracks) giving it also a Tom Scott sound too. Whatever way you look at this is all killer and no filler.Burning Sole Records are a perfect match for them, expect future great work from the both of them.Only 100 pressed so hurry and get your order in - the Bside is tops too!
