It’s hard not to be riveted to the spot by this one. You hear the mighty mid-tempo rhythm groove and you can’t help but gooseneck. The fatback drums sit beautifully behind the beat as the guys go to work and do their incredible thing.

The intermeshing keyboards and guitar add a dense blaxploitation vibe as the swaggering horns do their bit too. It's a polished, well-honed affair with huge attitude marking the return of one of the best contemporary funk bands around.

They never fail to deliver and it's good they have reconvened as
they have been busy setting up their own label and doing various solo projects-welcome back boys! We here at B&S are sure looking forward to the forthcoming album, their fifth in fact, entitled "Stand Up For Love". If this cutting gem is anything to go by then we are all in for a real sonic treat.
