Chainska Brassika : Simple Things Ft Frank Harper

Time to brush down the crombies and don those trilbies and enjoy it for what it is - an unashamedly ragged slice of joyful ska induced blessedness.

It's rallying cry is to keep things simple,get back to everyone enjoying a cracking band and stay off social media! These sons of the two tone revolution have hooked up with actor Frank Harper ,best known for his "hard man" roles, such as "Billy Bright" in The Football Factory and "Dog" in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. His cockney rap is short and sweet and tongue in cheek - about the right length for a cameo appearance too,sweet as a nut!

It's a jaunty affair thick with brass and a gloriously rasping tenor sax solo,that's just plain rude.It's a banging production too,the drums especially crack the whip to excite the rudies and all.With Brexit coming into play we really need bands like this who have the feel good factor and are down right infectious.

They've been around quite sometime now so it's great to hear that they are set to make their debut in the US with two official showcase performances at the legendary SXSW 2020, followed by nine more UK dates across April to October this year, including the London International Ska Festival and Ska Gate in Margate.
