Amsterdam resident bassist and multi-instrumentalist Oded Nir reveals his 2nd long player "Rooftop Conversations" on his own Suntree label. It’s been 9 years since he released his debut "Midnight Snacker" and it's clear how much this artist's material has matured beautifully on this stunning new body of work.

Born out of a colourful musical spectrum of Nir’s favourite musical styles, "Rooftop Conversations" is a dialogue made up of class jazz, funk and blues through to contemporary soulful, plus deep house and blissed out downtempo treats.

Alongside collaborations with world famous Jazz trumpeter Saskia Laroo on the album title "Rooftop Conversations" and recent single "Amsterdam Nights" featuring Sax player Cece Noir, this album features a vibrant array of talented collaborators including Kirsten Berkx, a contestant on the Dutch version of The Voice, who delivers heartfelt tones on "App Time".

America's Chappell lends his smooth uplifting croons to "Again & Again”, US Jazz Scat man Warren Byrd waxes his verbal talents across "That’s The Scat" and MC King Dread James brings his distinct dub vibe to "Power Of The Hair".

Also, worth a mention, is a fine selection of instrumental cuts, including the bluesy "TLV Blues" and the eerie "Northern Dream" among others, marking this a wonderful accomplished album with so many diverse facets to absorb and enjoy.
