Deep Funk is alive and well and flowing out of Detroit 'The Motor City' of bold beats and all round funky blessedness. Will Sessions has come up trumps again with Rickey Calloway adding his jarring JB jerks and joyfulness to this funk bomb belter. The drum beat is phenomenal with sweet little flams and a stop start feel (really inventive)
and who ever is doing the trombone solo he could dep for Fred Wesley any day and a lot more besides... And, talking of B sides...

The B-side will keep the B-boys brimming with it a great growly bass, a banging beat brooding organ some tasty driving flute and slinky wah wah-guitar topped by an evil synth top line - reminds me of something off Gaye's Classic "Trouble Man" a touch of pure class. Great to have witnessed them recently at London's Hook & Sling funk festival recently too, needless to say they bought the house down!

This is a gem and an absolute knockout Deelite!
