Alogoto & Co produce a beautiful slice of lilting reggae with a distinct African slant / Jamaican in feel, but African in sound! Think Yoruban type female chanting meets Sly & Robbie.

The backing is supplied by The Sahel Souls who offer a dreamy montage of musical abstractness and spiritual geometry to the mix and the B side, the strangely entitled "Starlet Road Filling Station Romance" is the best of the lot.

A totally sublime concotion of winding horns, which unleashes Monk like melodies on vibraphone, giving Julius Orlando and The Heliocentrics as definate run for their money. Top Notch I say!
