Fiddyâs soon-to-be released third album âCurtisâ finds the rapper at something of a career crossroads. He could completely catch people off-guard by adding a new twist to his now well-worn gangsta formula, or he could continue to churn out uninspired hits for the masses.

Based on the evidence contained on this single, it appears that Mr. Beef has chosen to run with the latter option.
The Dangerous LLC-produced âAmusement Parkâ is a tame reworking of almost every other G-Unit offering aimed squarely at the ladies, including 50âs own âCandy Shopâ. Comparing his sexual prowess to the thrills of a fairground ride, the boisterous crew boss gives the obligatory mention to his âmagic stickâ, croons a typically lazy sing-song hook, and urges the object of his desire to âsuck that, lick that, swallow that lollipop.â Any attempts by 50 to appear tongue-in-cheek or playful here are overshadowed by the general crassness of his lyrics.

If this is the best Curtis âInterscopeâ Jackson has to offer in 2007, then perhaps now might be a good time for Ja Rule to make that comeback attempt.
