UK release date 01.05.2012

Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1974 album from the man best known as the drummer in Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsys. This was Buddy's fifth solo album and followed up on the success of the 1972 Carlos Santana & Buddy Miles Live! album.

This was produced by legendary Motown producer and soul singer Johnny Bristol, who also produced Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Stevie Wonder and Edwin Starr. This album releaed at the same time as Johnny's massive solo hit, "Hang On In There Baby."

Buddy had a lengthy solo career that drew from rock, blues, soul and funk. He was in his father's band The Bebops at 12, and went on to play drums and provide backing vocals for Ruby and the Romantics, The Ink Spots, The Delfonics,Mike Bloomfield's Electric Flag and Carlos Santana.

"Pull Yourself Together," gained Buddy a slot in the R&B charts upon its release. "I'm Just A Kiss Away," is a huge hit among those in the UK "rare groove," and Japanese "free soul" scenes.

Ten tracks here, plus the bonus, single version of "Pull Yourself Together."
