From the funkytown grooves Hidden Treasure series here’s both of New Horizons’ albums from 1983 and 1984.

Produced by funkster Roger Troutman, master of the vocodar, this eighties funk outfit from Dayton, Ohio, tried so hard to join the big names of the decade. But didn’t quite get there.

These cds don’t work for me either, I’m sorry to say. Nothing is sufficiently memorable enough for me to write about – a bit nondescript actually – so regrettably will pass on this.
