And the winner of the most unnecessary number of interludes on a Hip-Hop album award goes to…..

Seriously, once you’ve skipped all these interludes (Simpson doesn’t even rap till the third track) you’re left with a decent enough set of tracks from the mind of the J Dilla and Black Milk associated figure.

Guilty spits his well crafted verses over 100% Madlib produced tunes and pretty much all of them are head nodding cuts. My advice would be to delete the interludes and you’ll have a much shorter thirteen track album but will listen to it far more often than the twenty four track meandering release it currently is.
