UK release date 28.06.2010

Recorded last February at the historic Saenger Theatre in Mobile, AL, this cd/dvd is Robert Cray’s first ever dvd release which includes some backstage sequences alongside him in action.

This US blues guitarist and five-times Grammy award winner mixes his classics alongside his favourites, bringing home once again his distinct style and sound that’s gone a long way to bridge traditional with contemporary blues. And it’s Robert’s ability to be musically adventurous that has ensured he remains a very bankable musician. Evergreens like 'Smoking Gun' settle easily with new faves, including “That’s What Keeps Me Rockin’”.

As a composer, some of Robert’s songs have been covered by the best – Eric Clapton and BB King for two, and he’s worked with A-class acts like Tina Turner and Chuck Berry. This will instantly appeal to Mr Cray’s fans - but I fear I’m not one of them.
