Firstly, let me lay my cards on the table immediately – this is flawless. I’m proud to see that it’s produced by an old friend of mine – the Nigerian uber-bassist Michael Olatuja.

The ambience of each track is nothing short of majestic, with heavenly afro grooves throughout. Somi is not to be underestimated as a vocalist. With a soulful and strong delivery in English and three different African languages, no wonder she is being talked of as a future world-conquering star.
