Fr3e: I Got My Beads On

I’m not really holding out much hope for Fr3e’s next release when this entire song is about, well, nothing more than beads to tell you the truth. What next, an album about moustaches, cufflinks, belts?

It sounds as if lots and lots of time and effort have been spent on the music contained on this track and hardly any on writing the verses and chorus. If fact, you may have spent more time reading this review than Fr3e did writing the lyrics.

Overall the music is meaty and substantial, the various percussion, loops and bass lines are excellent throughout. Shame the vocals don’t get anywhere near this standard or this could have been a dancefloor classic.
