With the new album featuring production from the likes of Kanye West, Will.i.am, and the late, great J-Dilla, plus guest vocals from Lily Allen, Bilal and Dwele to name a few, Chicago's Common promises an exciting return to the fray.

The first single is the Kanye-produced 'The People' which Common describes as a "declaration type of song" and another of West's productions is called 'Black Maybe'.
"I want to leave a mark on this earth," he told Billboard.com, "by making music and saying what I have to say in my music, is one of the ways I will exist forever."

Another cut 'So Far To Go' features vocals from the man D'Angelo, while Lily Allen track is called 'Driving Me Wild', which Common describes as a song about obsessions.

And with no tour yet planned, the rapper has scheduled a couple of one-off shows Stateside, starting this Saturday (April 14) at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore) and June 20 alongside Joss Stone and Ryan Shaw at NY's Central Park Summer Stage.
