Boomtown Fair announce 2020 lineup

The lineup for this year's Boomtown Fair has been unveiled, with the Wu-Tang Clan, Damian Marley, Kano and Kool and The Gang among those on the star-studded bill.

It's the 12th time the unique immersive festival, set in a fictional city and even boasting a storyline, has been held. It features a wide range of artists and genres, with hip-hop, soul, jazz, reggae and drum'n'bass well represented.
Other acts on the bill include Protoje, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Tank and the Bangas, Kelis, Akala and Candi Staton.

Organisers have promised a full-on experience alongside the music, with theatre and circus performers offering a wide range of entertainment.

A statement alongside the lineup announcement described it as "A high energy, theatrical spectacular of circus and performance, as well as boundary-pushing sound design, technology and special effects to create a 360-degree experience across multiple stages and areas.

"Curated by Boomtown production and theatrical teams, as well as circus troupes from across the world, the Boomtown story will unfold on an unrivalled scale throughout the 5-days…"
