Blues Fest London 2019 announce stellar lineup
Blues Fest London 2019 have announced another mouthwatering lineup this year with John Legend, Raphael Saadiq and Rickie Lee Jones performing from 25th-27th October at the O2 Arena and Indigo2 venues…
Hot on the heels of his latest Grammy nomination, soul/contemporary r&b superstar John Legend will be kicking Blues Fest 2019 off in style on October 25th at London’s O2 Arena. Legend, the youngest ever EGOT - at least one Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award winner - is always a must-see whenever he’s in town and with an impressive back catalogue to call on, you can see why this will be a hot ticket come October.
Raphael Saadiq was part of highly reputed r&b/neo-soul/new jack swing group Tony! Toni! Toné! and also soul/r&b supergroup, Lucy Peal. His Grammy-winning authentic soul/classic r&b production credentials are second to none and he’s even adoring the cover of the current issue of B&S. Saadiq will be in action at the Indigo2 the following evening, where he will perform songs from his considerable repertoire and tracks from his new album, dedicate to his late brother, called “Jimmy Lee”.
Completing a hat-trick of catch at all cost shows on the 27th, a rare London date for US multi-genre encompassing musician/singer/songwriter/producer Rickie Lee Jones. The enthralling “Chuck E.’s In Love” singer completes a tremble of Grammy-winners performing across a weekend packed with unmissable music.
