Chronixx + Protoje @Alexandra Palace 11 November 2018

It's an exciting time for reggae fans at the moment with a new wave of artists breathing fresh life into the genre and releasing some of the best new music in years.

Jamaica has a long and proud record of producing innovative artists, and that is epitomised by the excellent Chronixx and Protoje... The former's "Chronology" album was one of the highlights of last year, while Protoje set the bar high with his "Matter of Time" long player earlier this year and both have shown they can draw a crowd in the UK.

When Chronixx last played Brixton Academy the queue stretched right around the block, and Protoje was one of the star names at last year's excellent Jamaica House series. Expect more of the same when the duo appear at Alexandra Palace on Sunday, November 11.

The large indoor venue hosted Toots & The Maytals, plus Lee 'Scratch' Perry and other artists a few weeks back, so it's fitting that it will now showcase the next generation of reggae royalty. And with both artists boasting an impressive catalogue of music, it promises to be a top night of reggae. Expect plenty of hits, as well as duet "Who Knows" delivered with high energy... It's an essential show for reggae lovers.

A few tickets are still available but we suggest you nab them quickly because they should sellout well before the date.
