Gregory Porter Adds More UK Shows
New UK dates have been added to much talked about rising jazz/soul-star Gregory Porter's concert dates in May and June.
He appears at the Southport Weekender event, in Minehead on 12th May, Manchester, Band On The Wall on June 12th and at London's Bloomsbury Theatre on June 14th.
It’s a welcome return for Grammy nominee Gregory Porter after a string of sell-out Pizza Express shows in London and the release of his acclaimed second album, "Be Good."
He is also out in the summer with Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra on selected dates too.
Presented by Red Fire Music and SoulandJazz.com in association with Band On The Wall and The Bloomsbury Theatre, at those shows Gregory will be supported by his full US band and highlighting his very own style of soul and jazz ,featuring music from his extraordinary debut album "Water" (which includes the stunning track "1960 What") and songs from the wonderful "Be Good."
The exciting New York vocalist and songwriter has two nights at the annual Cheltenham Jazz Festival, after a warm-up in Basingstoke. He travels to Coventry, St Albans, Skegness, Bridlington, Canterbury, Croydon, Tunbridge Wells, Malvern, Manchester, Milton Keynes, London, Liverpool, Llandudno, Minehead and Carlise between 2nd May and 28th July. European and US dates in-between.

Due to the first night of Gregory Porter LIVE! at The Bloomsbury Theatre selling out in a matter of hours, an additional date on Wednesday, June 13 has been added.
Opening act for both London nights is Zara McFarlane, a promising newcomer to the British jazz scene signed to Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings. The 28-year-old London vocalist will be featuring music from her brand new album "Until Tomorrow."
