Adele Sets Yet More Records
Golden girl Adele is the first artist to chalk up two million downloads to earn double platinum status on iTunes in the USA.
Her album "21" also becomes the longest running US number one by any female artist in Billboard history - having spent 21 non-consecutive weeks at the top spot.
The album sold almost 750,000 copies in the week since her Grammy appearance and her six wins, exactly a year since its release.
The 23-year-old Londoner equalled Beyoncé for the most awards by a female artist in a year. She also tied Eric Clapton’s record for Grammy awards to a British artist.
