James Taylor to pay tribute to Jimmy Smith with 20 piece big band

Now here's something just a bit special to bring to your attention... If I mentioned the name of the late, and ever so great hammond talent, Jimmy Smith - your ears may just prick-up...

Now in the same breath if told you that James Taylor was going to play a tribute to the man himself with a 20 (yes 20!) piece big band in tow, I think you'd then probably ask me "where and when?" And considering Smith never got to actually play his iconic tracks from his album "Bashing: the Unbelievable Jimmy Smith" live, I think they've picked the right man for the job!

I also hear on the grapevine, James will also in the mood to celebrate 25 years in the business on the very same night, so only comment left to add is "get your tickets fast!"

All of the above can be witnessed on a special hammond night of delight on November 25 at brand new luxurious venue Under The Bridge, Chelsea.
