Last chance to catch Sylvia Powell on her coffee shop tour
We previously brought you the story of singer/songwriter (and Kylie's former label mate) Sylvia Powell's endeavors to launch herself via a UK tour of independent Coffee Houses, which ran over the last few months. For your last chance to catch her in this unique fashion, just get yourself along to London's Troubadour coffee house on the 26th of January.
Sylvia’s blend of soul, jazz and folk suits the intimacy and atmosphere of a coffee house. Especially with her rich, dulcet tones and the ‘confessional’ element to her writing. Sylvia says, “The coffee house tour was great, the response from the coffee houses and their customers was brilliant. Most of the venues had never put on live music before but all are now planning to make it a regular feature. I can't think of a more fitting end to this tour than performing at The Troubadour – ‘the original coffee house.’”
