VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE MOTOWN TRACK
With our endless love for Motown coupled with Motowns 50th birthday, Universal Music are inviting the public to vote for their favourite Motown tracks. The album will be compiled purely from the top 50 tracks chosen by fans and available on Dec 1...
Universal Motown are embracing the net to create this unique compilation album by partnering with Poll The People, the global online polling community - to launch the GREATEST MOTOWN SONGS poll. It will run for 4 weeks from Monday 15th September to determine the ultimate Motown Top 50.
People can select their Top 5 Motown songs from the database and their votes are entered into the poll. They will also be connected to other members of the community who match some or all of their Top 5 choices so they can meet like minded people and discover new gems from the legendary Motown catalogue.
Celebrities will be invited to submit their Top 5 Motown Songs which will also count towards the final tally of votes as well as helping to introduce a broad audience across all age groups to the Motown label.
Whether its the iconic 'I Want You Back' from the most famous brothers in the world the Jackson 5, the song that melts every girls heart 'My Girl' from the Temptations or the unmistakeable vocals of Marvin Gaye on 'Lets Get It On' the public will decide on their favourite 50 to mark the anniversary of arguably the most influential record label ever.
