AKON THROWS FANS OFF STAGE .... AGAIN!
Akon has been caught on camera throwing two fans off stage at a gig in Guayana, South America, punching one of them first, just days before finding he would stand trial for a similar incident last year.
As previously reported, the RnB singer previously pleaded not guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment in relation to that earlier incident. It is alledged that Akon got security guards to pick 15 year old Anthony Smith out of the audience after he allegedly threw something at the R&B star during a gig in June last year. A kon then manhandled Smith and ultimately threw him back into the crowd.
That event was caught on camera, as was this new one on 30 Aug in South America. The video shows Akon dive into the crowd and attempt to crowd surf to a podium further out into the audience. When he eventually reaches it he finds two women dancing there. They appear very excited and try to grab hold of him, at which point he appears to punch one of them in the head. The video ends there, but it's thought he may then pushed the dancing women off the podium.
The singer will stand trial for the original incident on 1 Dec unless he can reach an out-of-court settlement with Smith and his family.
