There are plenty of collaborators involved, including Cosby's longtime musical collaborator Bill 'Spaceman' Patterson and his partner Ced-Gee, who is one quarter of the pioneering hip hop outfit Ultramagnetic MCs (along with one Kool Keith).

Other MCs involved in the project include SupaNova Slom, Jace The Great and Brother Hahz. Commenting on the album, which will be called 'Cosby Narratives Vol. 1: State of Emergency'.

Billboard quote Cosby rep David Brokaw as saying "[this is an] unflinching look at life in the 21st century but without the profanity,
misogyny, violence and braggadocio". The album is expected to be released in the coming month.
