Louie Vega & Elements Of Life @ The Superbowl
As Europe continues to enjoy mainstream dance music success for its DJs and songs, it's nice to see America enjoying what's right on their door step.
Making great strides for dance music and continuing to push the envelope, Louie Vega's Elements of Life band performed with Cirque du Soleil and Miami-based artist Romero Britto in an unprecedented performance in the Super Bowl XLI pre-game show on CBS at Dolphin Stadium in South Florida on February 4th. Grammy Award winner, Louie Vega, composed the original musical score with his Elements of Life Orchestra featuring vocalist Anane performing it as the Cirque du Soleil performance comes to life. The potential world-wide audience is 1 billion in more than 230 countries and territories. And that, my friends, is unparalleled exposure. And as one witty observer noted ahead of the event, Louie's probably less likely to have a wardrobe malfunction than JanetÂ.
