These days, as well as continuing his hectic production schedule, Dodge now reports regularly to a parliament committee on youth crime concerns. Last week, in a special report on Channel 5 News, he seeks to find out why so many of the UK's young black population become entangled in the criminal justice system and whether social exclusion is a factor for many of them.

Dodge speaks regularly at various UK colleges and schools on matters concerning music and the music business. in 2006 he appeared (twice) on Sky News Live to comment on issues concerning youth crime.
