Reports from the US are claiming that rap queen Eve has been arrested for driving under the influence at the scene of a road vehicle accident.

Her car was involved in a collision on Hollywood Boulevard this morning (26/4) and she was then arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and taken to the Los Angeles County Jail.

The 28 year old rapper was later released from custody shortly after posting bail.

Eve is set to return next month with her hot new Swizz Beats-produced single: 'Tambourine'.
