Review for the opening of the Big Chill Bar Bristol 08/10/09
The opening of the Big Chill Bristol went off in spectacular style and is now offering fellow bristolians an exciting new venue with special events, nice drinks and good music!!
The decor is theatrical funky chic, low lighting but welcoming none the less. The food is described as musical gastronomy and it's all locally sourced and globally inspired cuisine-sounds like a winner! Understandably so as it's managed by the people who opened the "spotted cow" so its bound to do well and I wish them every success with their new exciting venture. So head down there and give the club a test drive, reasonable prices make it a must!
DJ Craig Charles nailed the evening till the wee small hours with his inimitable mix of funk, soul, disco and boogaloo ensuring great vibes for the full on party that didn't stop erupting. (Sneaky Craig has even been deejaying in soapland at the Rovers for Ken's 70th birthday bash. I hope Barlow appreciated those wicked northern soul tunes!)
Exciting times ahead for this fresh injection into the heart of Bristol and incidently tickets have gone on sale for the Big chill Festival 2010.For further info check their website http://www.bigchill.net
