Here are a few of the photographs taken by me at an exclusive photo shoot with US blues star Mud Morganfield, eldest son of blues legend Muddy Waters, during Mud's UK tour. He is due back for shows in March and is well worth catching live.

Mud appeared on BBC TV's "Later.......With Jools Holland," with his all-star UK band, and sold out several of his UK dates as a result. I attended the filming of the BBC show as Mud's guest, where Mud agreed to break his golden rule of not attending daytime soundchecks to enable him rest his voice for the shows at night, just for me to get these exclusive pix.

So when he visited Derby's famed Flowerpot venue, I was invited along to shoot portrait pix of him before the soundcheck, to have an in depth interview with the man, and then snap away while he sang with the band on stage for sound check.

Enjoy the pix and watch out for the full interview with Mud, coming very, very soon..........................He reveals some amazing stuff about his Dad and his own career. Don't miss it............

The incredible thing is: He LOOKS just like his famous father and he SOUNDS just like Muddy too. No dispute over where he got his Genes from!
